I just try to stay out of everyone who isnt driving correctly-s way--be they the OH NO it SNOWED and 10mph is their limit or the I GOT A SUV and swerve around the previous group thus making more problems....as well as seeing how fast they can go before they start to lose control on the roads...

I just stay back and watch and go the speed limit (or a wee bit slower if the road is bad--my winter car doesnt really have good traction-and with the idiots all around its hard to speed anyways). Though I usually use my driveway as a test ground--if its icy its a good bet some of the streets will be as well, and its a good idea to be aware of ice UNDER the snow----

its just so utterly amazing in a country where about half of the states get snow for half of the year that people forget how to drive on it ....nevermind they never learned in the first place

What is funny is that people complain when they don't getting their driver license is too hard...Okay sometimes you miss it because of a really dumb mistake that get overblown by the inspector, but hey, if you can't turn without hitting another car or if you drive way over the speed limit, I'm kind of glad that you don't have your driver license.
The road is dangerous enough...

I'm glad that it doesn't really snow where I'm going to drive. At least the idiots won't be making a lot more mistakes.

I have yet to get my report card/grade for my class....they dont send them out any more

...seems they think everyone should now have a computer (this was a COMMUNITY college; eg: for the WHOLE community not just younger computer literate people, seems they dont care about the older folks any longer---)

same thing about tax forms...seems they just arent going to send out the 1040's any more---too many people filing online....uhm, if you dont send out the forms people are going to think they dont have to file...and to find a place that has forms---my post office has a big sign NO TAX FORMS on the door

...just mail the goshdang blasted things

I do it online just because it is quicker for me. But they still should send out tax forms or at least offer them for free someplace for those who don't.

I drive a rustbucket CRV not the most prettiest vehicle, but god dam it can plow through snow easily.

Anyways this weekend is a tight schedule for me since im scheduled to work, but I dont mind since I have lots of studying to do for an exam on monday and a paper. Im just amazed how fast the time flew by since I started doing my HW at 8:00am. Usually I troll away on the internet, which gets boring after awhile and I can barely keep my eyes open by noon. Oh well time for lunch.

Also those that are in relationships. I need advice on what to do on first date! Where should I take my date, and is dinner and a movie considered cheesy and unoriginal?

The Camry does okay on snow, but since it is light it isn't as good on ice as the Cutlass is. Oh well, just have to change my driving style in ice. I have already had it fishtail a few times, but I have saved it each time luckily.

I like weekends. I don't really have anything to do other than research ideas for topics and such. Awesome.

corolla here--very light and likes to skate on the icy spots (have a subaru too--but hubby gets that since it has all wheel drive and he NEEDS to get to work)....got new tires for it last year which helps but its still very light on its wheels!

yeah they should put a box on hard copy tax forms with something like 'if you wish to receive a packet for the next tax year put an X here' that way those of us who dont wish the put that kind of info on the internet can get a hard copy and MAIL it in (I like to do my taxes and wait a few weeks then look them over again to make sure I didnt miss anything then have a bunch of copies made for my records as well as to send in---I have NO printer so no way to print off a copy here).....though am still waiting for a bunch of forms I need (from employers and such) to even think about filing (they have until jan 31st to get those in the mail---by fed law).....so more waiting here.

You people and your cheap cars... over here in DK, cars cost in insane amount of money, due to our freaking added tax value on 25%, i did buy a cheap car that lastet for 3 years though.

Ofc, i could buy a car in Sweden where it is monstrously cheap compared to Denmark, but come on, it's Sweden

Sunday has come up, need to help a friend move some boxes for the day, so cheer up lads, and ladettes, cause it's a fiiiiine day today.

I have had my corolla for 14 years now, and my subaru for 8---I plan to keep them for a good while longer, they are both in top condition and the toyota dealership keeps wanting to buy mine back (for about what I paid for it!). I HAD a ford--sold it as quickly as I could as the value dropped 33% per year (so in the 2 years I had it it lost 2/3rd of its value--and it was very very low mileage!)...had a honda before that. Not sure what you mean by cheap since I remember what I paid for my cars and they have kept their value over the years and still run almost as good as new (ok the corolla hates the cold, but heck thats about the ONLY problem it has).

The Camry we have right now is 16 years old, the Cutlass is 15, one Explorer is 4 years old and the other is either 3 or 4. Cars here are not something most people buy for a few years and then get a new one, unless they lease. Usually you keep them until they break down so much that it isn't worth it to repair anymore.

Wow, slow drivers out today... Got behind someone who wanted the 6 cars behind them to merge onto the interstate at 45 mph... Then got behind someone doing 30 in a 55... Speed limit people... Please be closer too it!

We are supposed to get 12 inches of snow here on Tuesday and Tuesday night. Here is to hoping for a snow day but the district I am in NEVER gives a snow day... >.>
